The Adams County Board of Supervisors today issued a “Burn Ban” for all of Adams County and it was approved by the Mississippi Forestry Commission. This ban will remain in effect until July 7, 2009 and possibly extended if the dry conditions continue.
This Burn Ban does not include fireworks.
Residents are urged to be cautious and aware of the dry conditions when using fireworks. Have a water source available at all times and to be careful at all times.
